Growing up in the heart of Lancaster, PA Manny and Mose were constantly surrounded by community with outdoor gatherings playing a special role in their upbringing. After crafting their own outdoor structures which became a source of relaxation, hosting, and entertainment…they started crafting structures for other families. With over 25 years of working with different companies they decided to start Fisher’s Backyard Structures in 2019.

We’re one of the few outdoor structure companies that take care of every stage of the process while offering customization. We help you customize your dream backyard structure and then deliver and install it. We take care of the planning and heavy lifting, you do the dreaming and relaxing.
Manny, the CEO of Fisher’s, wanted to do more than just build outdoor structures in the U.S. His vision extended beyond borders, and he saw an opportunity to support the Shigamani Village in Limpopo Province, South Africa, by providing them with safe and beautiful structures.
It’s located in the poorest province of the country and has approximately 15,000 residents, most of whom are under the age of 35. Over 200 orphans call this village their home. For the last 12 years of the project, 24 mission teams have been sent to South Africa to do construction, ministry, and offer medical services.
At the heart of the mission, Project Shigamani is the belief that every community deserves a safe, and welcoming place to call home. By working together, we aim to provide lasting value that helps communities thrive for generations to come.
